Former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson has been banned from Twitter for violating the platform’s COVID-19 standards.
Berenson posted on his Substack page that his ban was tied to his criticism of the COVID vaccines.
“It doesn’t stop infection. Or transmission. Don’t think of it as a vaccine,” the tweet said.
Berenson told the New York Post that America has “reached a dangerous moment.”

In addition to his work with the New York Times, Berenson has authored several thriller novels.
“I will continue to fight to get out the truth and am considering all legal options,” he vowed.
