Millions of social media users have been affected by yet another Instagram outage this evening.
The issue is reportedly affecting the platform’s messaging system, with thousands of frustrated users taking to Twitter to complain about the issue.
Apparently, affected users are unable to send direct messages to others while some cannot upload to the Stories feature.
The problem is so widespread it has even caused the hashtag #instagramdown to be trending across the world.
It comes after a major outage earlier this year, which also affected platforms including WhatsApp, Facebook, and Facebook Messenger for a number of hours.
