Denver, CO (August 31, 2021) – One person was left injured as a result of a pedestrian accident in the Denver area early Monday evening. At around 4:15 p.m., on August 30, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on West Mississippi Avenue.
Reports from the Denver Police Department show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on West Mississippi Avenue at the intersection of South Raritan Street. The incident caused some disruptions in traffic as crews closed off both roadways as they worked to clear the scene. EMS tended to injured victims briefly on-site before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
