Fresno, CA (September 02, 2021) – A collision between an SUV and an ambulance took place at about 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1st in downtown Fresno.
Fresno police shut down the intersection of H Street and Mono Street for nearly an hour.
Reports show that an ambulance was traveling southbound along H Street when it collided in the intersection with an SUV driving eastbound on Mono Street.
The force of the impact caused the ambulance to overturn.
Fresno police said that the driver of the SUV and the three American Ambulance personnel inside the ambulance were both transported to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
