Reno, NV (August 31, 2021) – One man was left severely injured following a pedestrian accident in the Reno area on Saturday evening. At around 9:51 p.m., on August 28, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at an accident on South Virginia Street.
Reports from authorities show that an adult male pedestrian was traveling near the Peppermill Resort Hotel, in the 2700 block of South Virginia Street, when he was struck by a vehicle. The man sustained severe injuries in the accident. He was rushed to a local hospital for further care. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke with low enforcement. At this time, investigations are underway.
