Lauderdale Co, MS (September 04, 2021) – A community in Mississippi is grieving the loss of a high school senior who was killed on Thursday, September 2nd in a workplace accident in northern Lauderdale County.
Sources reported that the 17-year-old West Lauderdale High School senior died while working on a fish farm in Daleville.
Authorities said that, for reasons still under investigation, the pick-up truck the teen was using on the farm overturned and rolled down a levee. The 17-year-old was thrown from the truck. It then landed directly on top of him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
