Customers of the Department of Vehicle and Drivers' Licensing (DVDL) are asked to be on the look out for fraudulent emails.
On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, the DVDL issued an advisory warning customers that fraudulent emails were being sent to customers, however, such emails did not originate from DVDL and were not created or authorised or distributed by the DVDL.
The emails being circulated purport to be from the DVDL stating that customers have been cited for traffic violations and should make payments to them.
DVDL has reported the matter to the relevant authorities for further investigations.
Members of the public are encouraged not to open and/or respond to these correspondences, as it could jeopardize personal information and privacy.
For any further queries, please email [email protected] or visit www.dvdl.gov.
