Raleigh, NC (September 6, 2021) – One man has lost his life following an auto accident overnight in Raleigh. At around 1:39 a.m., on September 6, emergency crews were requested at the scene of an accident on Interstate 440.
Reports from the Raleigh police show that 27-year-old Cameron Scott Morrison was walking near the eastbound side of Interstate 440 when he was struck by a vehicle near the exit for Six Forks Road.
Morrison sustained severe injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived on-site and pronounced the man deceased from his injuries. Police and firefighters closed off the eastbound side of the interstate between Glenwood Avenue and Six Forks Road for several hours. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
