Monument, CO (September 2, 2021) – Authorities in the Monument area were requested on-site at a crash that ended in injuries. At approximately 8:24 p.m., on September 1, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Highway 83 that required assistance.
Reports from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office were notified that a collision blocked Highway 83 in the area of Walker Road during the evening hours. The incident caused some disruptions in the area as crews worked to clear the scene. EMS tended to injured victims briefly on-site before transporting those in need of further care to local hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
