Harris County, TX. (September 8, 2021)- One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash on September 3, 2021 in Harris County, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. on State Highway 249 near Breen Drive. Police reported that the driver of a southbound pickup truck was traveling a t a high rate of speed when it crossed into the northbound lane and crashed into a Chevrolet Trailblazer. The passenger in the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene. The Chevrolet driver was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The pickup driver has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and aggravated assault. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
