Jefferson, CO (September 3, 2021) – Authorities were requested at the scene of an accident in the Unincorporated Jefferson area that ended in injuries. At around 8:41 p.m., on September 2, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on South Rooney Road.
Reports from the West Metro Fire Rescue indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the 700 block of South Rooney Road during the evening hours. The police and firefighters closed off the roadway as they worked for over an hour to clear the roadway. At least one person was transported via EMS to a nearby hospital for medical care. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are underway.
