Casper, WY (September 4, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Casper area sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 12:20 a.m., on September 3, the Wyoming Highway Patrol was requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 25.
Reports from authorities indicate that a collision blocked all northbound lanes of Interstate 25 in the area of mile post 186. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews closed off the roadway as they worked to clear the scene. Emergency medical services tended to injured victims on-site. Those in need of further care were transported to area hospitals. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
