Welcome back to Form D Friday, where we take a look at regulatory filings in North Texas to see which businesses and firms are raising capital for a new project, investment idea or for something else.

Although the fillings don't have many details, they do provide a glimpse of what businesses and investors might be planning.

Corriente Advisors

Fort Worth private investment firm Corriente Advisors LLC updated and SEC filing from 2017 to report raising nearly $149 million in equity from 47 investors for its hedge fund titled "Corriente Partners II, LP." In its initial filing for the fund, Corriente reported raising more than $28 million from 26 investors.

Triumph Bancorp

Triumph Bancorp, the Dallas-based operator of TBK Bank, reported raising $70 million in debt funding from 43 investors, per an SEC filing.

TMGcore

Plano-based crypto mining and data center infrastructure company TMGcore reported raising $20 million in debt funding and convertible promissory notes from five investors, per an SEC filing.

Alta Fox Capital Management

Fort Worth-based long-short hedge fund Alta Fox Capital Management has raised $7.75 million in pooled investment fund interests from six investors in a fund titled "Alta Fox SPV 2, LP," an SEC filing shows.

Digital Seat Media

Digital Seat Media, a Fort Worth-based tech startup, reported raising $2.1 million in equity from five investors on a $3.4M offering, according to an SEC filing.
