Modesto, CA (September 09, 2021) – On Tuesday, September 7th, 25-year-old Clavey Carlson, a resident of Modesto, was killed during a two-vehicle collision on McHenry Avenue.
Reports show that at about 9:10 p.m., police responded to the scene on McHenry Avenue in the area of Kiernan Avenue after being notified of the crash.
An investigation determined that Carlson was traveling southbound on McHenry Avenue in a Subaru when he collided with a van towing a trailer. The force of the impact caused the trailer to come unhitched from the van, which drifted off the roadway and overturned.
The Subaru left the roadway and crashed into a nearby utility pole.
Carlson sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at Doctors Medical Center.
The driver of the van driver, 43-year-old Damien McGee, sustained non-critical injuries during the accident.
