Perry Co, MS (September 10, 2021) – Local police were sent to Perry County on Thursday, September 9 to help with a traffic incident.
According to eyewitness testimony, the incident occurred around MS-42 and Corinth Church Road. At 6:53 p.m. that evening, the collision was reported to local police. At least one person was hurt, according to emergency responders on the site.
When first responders arrived on the site, all roads in both directions were closed. The injured people were treated on the spot by medical personnel. Early reports did not specify the number of persons present at the time of the event. The severity of the injuries sustained as a result of the event is still unknown.
The incident is currently being investigated by local law enforcement. No more information has been provided at this time.
