Raleigh, NC (September 9, 2021) – At 5:17 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, September 9, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Northbrook Drive and Six Forks Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
