The Buffalo Bills didn't make many splashy acquisitions this offseason, opting to keep the core of the team intact. But they did bring in wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who projects to be a perfect fit in this offense.
While there was some concern about his availability in Week 1, it looks like Sanders will be good to go in Week 1.
Emmanuel Sanders Fantasy Outlook
Even with a clean bill of health, Sanders probably isn't someone you're starting in Week 1. It's fair to have concerns about his role this week given his limited practices all week. And the Pittsburgh Steelers are not a defense you'll want to face at less than 100%.
Last year, Pittsburgh's defense was No. 1 in total defensive DVOA and pass defense DVOA. The Steelers were vulnerable against No. 1 wideouts, but they dominated secondary WRs. Pittsburgh ranked No. 4 by DVOA against No. 2 WRs and No. 2 against all other wideouts.
Combined the health concerns with the tough matchup, and Sanders is shaping up to be a "stay away" in Week 1.
