The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) has published a notice providing a further extension to the deadline for the private fund annual return (FAR) form and related fund entity (RFE) form.
Further to our Update earlier this month in relation to the additional form required for a private fund's RFEs, the CIMA notice issued on 10 September 2021 extends the filing deadline for both the FAR form and RFE form to 31 October 2021.
All private funds with a 2020 or a 2021 financial year-end up to 31 March 2021, must submit the FAR and RFE forms by this deadline. CIMA has confirmed that no further extensions will be granted.
