Houston, TX. (September 13, 2021)- One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash on September 12, 2021, in Houston, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. at the Southwest Freeway service road and Fountain View Drive intersection. Police reported that the driver of a northbound vehicle ran the red light and T-boned an eastbound Acura TL occupied by the victims. The passenger in the Acura was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. The Acura driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The northbound driver was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
