Cherokee County, TX. (September 14, 2021)- 22-year-old Allyson Goad was killed in a two-vehicle crash on September 11, 2021, in Cherokee County, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. on U.S. 69 near Jacksonville, Texas. Police reported that the driver of a northbound 2004 Ford Expedition crossed into the southbound lane and crashed head-on into a 20219 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Goad. Goad was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Expedition was transported to 20219 Chevrolet Silveradowith serious injuries. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
