Tipalti, a financial software firm, is planning to open a new office in Plano by November.

At least 20 new employees are expected to be added by the end of 2021, while 100 should be added by the end of 2022, the company stated in a release.

Positions at the Plano location will focus on customer support, payment operations, risk management, compliance, sales and human resources.

Plano Mayor John Muns said in the release that the city is “excited and proud to welcome Tipalti.”

“Plano continues to attract world-class businesses looking for the perfect place for their employees to live, work and play,” Muns stated. “This latest move speaks volumes about our city continuing to provide a friendly business climate for companies to relocate or expand.”

Plano will be Tipalti’s fourth office and join locations in San Mateo, California, Kibbutz Glil-Yam, Israel; and Vancouver B.C., Canada.

“With access to high quality talent across a diverse set of functions, we found Plano in particular to be attractive for its high tech talent, quality of life, and local culture,” Tipalti’s Chief Customer and Operating Officer, Manish Vrishaketu, said in the release.

Tipalti began in 2010, as a way for digital networks to manage mass payments to global partners using automation, the company’s website states. It’s clients include Amazon, Twitch, GoDaddy, Oscar Insurance, Roku, Wordpress.com, and ZipRecruiter.
