Oxford, MS (September 14, 2021) – On Sunday, September 12, local police were dispatched to Oxford to assist with a traffic collision.
The incident happened on Heritage Drive near Hampton Inn, according to eyewitness evidence. The incident was reported to local police at 3:55 p.m. that day. Many roads were closed as first responders arrived on the scene.
According to emergency personnel on the scene, at least one person was injured. Medical staff treated the injured persons on the scene. The number of people present at the time of the incident was not specified in early reports. The extent of the injuries incurred as a result of the incident has yet to be determined.
Local law enforcement is now investigating the event. At this time, no more information has been supplied.
