Perry Co, MS - Curtis Davis Fatally Hit by Two Vehicles on US-98 - Germany Law Firm PLLC - Bob Germany Law

Perry Co, MS (September 14, 2021) – A New August man was killed after being hit by two vehicles in Perry County on Saturday, September 11.
The deadly crash took place on US-98 at around 10:20 p.m. that evening. The Mississippi Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident. Local sources revealed that 78-year-old Curtis A. Davis was walking along the highway at the time of impact.
While Davis was on the highway, a 2012 Peterbilt Tractor-Trailer operated by a man from Ottawa, Canada and a 2015 Buick Regal driven by someone from McClain were headed westbound. Davis was hit by both vehicles. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
