Aberdeen, MS - Tyler Jones Dies in Crash with Garbage Truck on Old Columbus Rd - Germany Law Firm PLLC - Bob Germany Law

Aberdeen, MS (September 15, 2021) – On Tuesday, September 14, a Hamilton man was killed in the aftermath of a two-vehicle accident near Aberdeen.
The incident occurred on Old Columbus Road near Highway 8. A pickup truck reportedly collided with a garbage truck at around 7:13 a.m. that morning. Local reports revealed that 27-year-old Tyler Jones was headed northbound on Old Columbus at the time of impact.
Jones crashed with a westbound garbage truck owned by Waste Connections of Pontotoc. Jones sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information has been released at this time.
An ongoing crash investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
