Gulfport, MS (September 15, 2021) – A passenger was killed in the aftermath of a three-vehicle crash in Gulfport on Tuesday, September 14.
The accident reportedly took place early that morning on E. Pass Road. Three vehicles reportedly collided at the scene at around 8 a.m. One person was killed after being ejected from a vehicle. Two others were hospitalized for treatment.
The deceased victim was later identified as 30-year-old Lou Smith-Craft of Gulfport. She was reportedly the passenger in a westbound vehicle that veered into eastbound traffic. The car crashed head-on with a pickup truck. The area was closed for several hours while emergency responders were present.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
