A staff member at the Health Services Authority (HSA) East End Health Centre has tested positive for COVID-19 which Public Health discovered through contact tracing.
The positive diagnosis has resulted in the temporary closure (September 15) of the clinic with a scheduled reopening at 1pm to allow deep cleaning and reassignment of staff.
Public Health is continuing contact tracing and any other staff member who is a direct contact, has been isolated.
No information has been provided on the positive community transmitted case to which the staff member was connected.
The COVID-19 vaccination clinic scheduled for this evening at East End Health Centre will take place from 5 – 8pm.
Persons coming to the vaccination clinic are reminded to bring their own facemask and practice safe social distancing.
