After a government mandated halt which it said was "out of an abundance of caution", Miss Cayman Universe, which was originally scheduled for Saturday September 11, will now take place on September 18.
The event will take place at the Westin Resort and Spa, Grand Cayman, with the theme "Moonlight in Paradise." Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00pm, followed by the pageant at 7:00pm.
Contestants vying for the crown will include: Contestant #1: Nerissa McLaughlin Contestant #2: Aleya Solomon Contestant #3: Georgina Kerford Contestant #4: Tania McLean Contestant #5: Kimberly Carlos Contestant #6: Antankia Ebanks Contestant #7: Markita Ebanks Contestant #8: Aliyah Harrison Contestant #9: Ashley Crowe
Due to reduced public gathering allowances, the previously sold out event that was capped at 500 has had to make some major modifications.
Said a statement from the Miss Cayman Islands Committee:
We have organized a viewing outside of the Westin to accommodate up to 200 guests, as we can only seat 100 inside due to recent COVID restrictions. Those seated outside will have the opportunity to see the contestants as they will parade outside near the lawn for their swimwear and evening-wear segments.
Masks will be mandatory within the building.
Those who purchased tickets and still wish to attend can send an email to:

For those unable to attend, refunds will be issued next week at the Government Admin Building.
