Houston, TX. (September 16, 2021)- Geovanny Nieto was killed, and his wife Stefany Vasquez was injured in a two-vehicle crash on September 12, 2021, in Houston, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. at the Southwest Freeway service road and Fountain View Drive intersection. Police reported that the driver of a northbound Nissan Altima ran the red light and T-boned an eastbound Acura TL occupied by Nieto and Vasquez. Vasquez was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. Nieto was pronounced dead at the scene. The northbound driver was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
