Harrison Co, MS (September 16, 2021) – A child was injured after being hit by a truck in Harrison County on Tuesday, September 14.
The incident occurred on Edwin Ladner Rad that afternoon. The 12-year-old victim had reportedly just exited a school bus at the time of the accident. The bus driver reportedly left before ensuring the victim was able to cross the road safely.
The young boy was hit by a southbound truck while crossing the roadway. The injured party was taken to USA Medical Center in Mobile for the treatment of a possible broken leg and other injuries. No further updates have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
