The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office says two men were injured in a crash in Green Township Friday.
Deputies say at around 2:05 p.m., they investigated a three car personal injury accident on Northland Drive.
They say a car driven by a 46-year-old Big Rapids man was rear ended by a car travelling South on Northland Drive, which was driven by a 31-year-old Big Rapids man.
The rear-ended car was pushed into oncoming traffic and struck a Northbound car operated by a 64-year-old Big Rapids man.
Deputies say the 64-year-old has been taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They also say the 46-year-old man was injured, but went to the hospital on his own.
The 31-year-old has been cited for failing to stop in a close assured distance.
