Thousands of jobs are up for grabs in Dallas-Fort Worth, as companies scramble to hire - The Dallas Morning News

The sheer number of jobs available in North Texas and nationwide is eye-popping, with companies actively competing to attract workers to meet online shopping demand or prepare for the upcoming holiday season or fall flu and COVID-19 innoculations.

Here are some of the companies actively seeking workers in North Texas. Its new, 500,000-square-foot facility will enable the company to process 42 million smartphones and tablets annually over the next three years. UPS needs to snap up workers as fast as it can because of the tight job market. The facility will serve as Gatik's operations hub for Texas, where the company's medium-duty autonomous trucks operate over 20 hours a day, every day. The 130,000-square-foot Texas factory will be the company's fourth facility and its first in North America. The facilities will create more than 1,300 jobs once completed.
