- Owen Allen ran for 146 yards and four touchdowns, and South Carolina pledge Landon Samson had eight catches for 131 yards and three scores as Southlake Carroll, the area's top-ranked 6A team, routed Trophy Club Byron Nelson 68-7. Carroll had 602 yards of offense, and its defense allowed only seven points despite giving up 364 yards.
