Updated at 4:53p.m. Sept. 29: Revised to note that Dallas police have eliminated as a person of interest a man whose image was seen in video footage released by the department on Friday.
Dallas police continue to investigate the shooting death of a 30-year-old man at an Oak Lawn apartment complex earlier this month.

The gunman fled before police arrived.
On Friday, police released a video and photos of a man whom they considered a person of interest in Thompson’s death. On Wednesday, however, the department said it was no longer looking into that person for the crime.
