The 2021 A-List Awards, now in its 10th year, recognizes Austin-based tech and innovation companies, according to an Oct. 1 news release from the chamber.
"These visionary founders and startups are creating global solutions through innovative technologies and thriving in the Austin eco-system in a powerful way," said Roland Peña, senior vice president of global technology and innovation with the chamber.
This year, three companies operating out of Northwest Austin were recognized with an A-List Award from the chamber. According to the chamber's website, Early Stage organizations are businesses that are angel-invested, seed-funded or Series A funded. Organizations nominated for this award are Series B and Series C funded companies, according to the chamber website. The award is given to companies that were established "From the ground up from only personal savings, luck and cash from beginning sales," per the chamber.
In all, 40 local Austin companies and organizations were nominated for A-List Awards from the chamber.
