Electric violinist JaVonne Jones is taking on the world by storm. Not only is she a dynamic
female instrumentalist; she’s a music artist, an educator, a children’s book author, and even
promotes her own events. On December 16, 2022, Jones will be hosting her 5th Annual Stringing
in the Holidays at the Hardin Auditorium in Evans, GA.
Stringing in the Holidays began 5 years ago in 2017 when Ms. Jones lost her Grandmother in
August and Father in November. In her grief, she birthed the vision of having an event that
would bring “good tidings and great joy” to people during the holiday season. So many people
hurt and have lost loved ones which makes the holidays quite difficult. This event is filled with
laughter, live music, and LOADS OF FUN; that allows people to forget about what they are
going through for 2 hours of their lives and ENJOY THE MOMENT! The show includes
Electric Violinist JaVonne Jones herself, Augusta’s Favorite Comedienne Poncere, Supreme
Vocalist, Tara, Grammy Nominated Trombonist Hank Bilal, and Jacksonville Smooth Jazz and
R&B Guitarist Willie Soul.
Not only does this event bring joy to those that are in attendance, but it also brings joy to the less
fortunate. Proceeds of the event provides Christmas gifts for The Bridge Ministry of the CSRA,
which provides resources for the homeless in Augusta, Ga and their surrounding areas.
