Bithumb, one of South Koreas largest crypto exchanges is facing increased scrutiny from regulators. The countrys National Tax Service (NTS) is reportedly conducting a special tax investigation on the crypto company. As part of a compliance investigation, NTS tax investigators searched the crypto exchanges offices in Seoul, the nations capital, on January 10, according to Cointelegraph.
