North Korea criticises report on Russia and China weapons of mass destruction threat
North Korea has criticised the US for describing China and Russia as threats in its new strategy on dealing with weapons of mass destruction.
A report from the US Department of Defence, published last week, said Russia "poses the most acute nuclear, biological, and chemical threat in the near-term", while China presented "the most comprehensive and urgent challenge" to the US.
North Korea and Iran were also described as "persistent threats".
KCNA, the North Korean news agency, cited the state's defence minister as being critical of the report.
