The Disney Store in Raleigh's Crabtree Valley Mall is set to close permanently on May 19, 2021, as per the announcement on their official website. On May 4th, an employee at that location reported the story, saying that no new stores will be opening at Raleigh Disney.
Any Item in the store is 25% OFF as of May 4th, but the staff is unsure of the upcoming markdown timetable as the deadline looms.

More than a Dozen Disney Stores will be Closed
The first round of store closures comes just a week after the Walt Disney Company revealed that at least 60 Disney stores in North America would shutter this year. 9 Stores in California and 7 Stores in Texas
Disney stores are closing in 16 states, with California losing the most, with nine stores closing, and Texas losing seven.
"While market preference has turned toward online shopping, the global pandemic has changed what shoppers demand from a retailer," said Stephanie Young, president of consumer electronics, gaming, and publishing.
More than 600 Disney Parks outlets and other sites, including small Disney stores within Target stores, will not be affected by the closures.

Disney officials did not include an official list of the store openings, instead directing USA TODAY to use the store locator app on the company's website to locate the closing locations.
