The Local Love Spring Art Festival celebrates arts and artists from the Bay Area. The event is celebrated in two parts – the first one is scheduled to be held from 7th May till 16th May 2021, while the second part will be held a month later, from 15th June to 20th June 2021.
2020 has been a year of the unknown – the period of quarantine has left most artists and people from the arts community economically weak and down. The Spring Art Festival offers the entire Bay Area community to come forward and support various groups of local artists from varied fields like music, sculpture, dance, and more.

24,000 Sq Ft Area Spread on Two Floors
The ten-day festival is being organized at the Terra Gallery, which is the state’s leading venue. The venue occupies a 24,000 sq ft area spread on two floors. This area is the indoors, best for exhibitions, while there is an outdoor area of 6000+ sq ft apt for music, food, and drinks. There are about 30 local artists from Bay Area who have participated in showcasing their exhibits. Multiple local musicians and artists participate in daily shows and programs organized on Fridays and weekends. The weekends and Friday evenings will feature local arts, fashion vendors, and crafts.
Free for Kids
It is important to note that every day there are only limited tickets. The tickets have been priced at $30 while kids are free. The outdoor facility can be accessed for free; however, to track attendance, tickets are a must even for this zone.
The entire schedule of programs and artists can be accessed at https://locallove.io. The festival is open on weekdays from 4 pm to 9 pm while on Saturdays and Sundays the event opens at 11 am. The closing time for Saturdays is 9 pm while for Sundays it is 6 pm.
Support the Local Arts Community
It is a good way to support the local arts community, which has braced a difficult time during the pandemic. About one-third of the funds generated from the event will be directed towards participating artists’ funds, while one-third goes to staffing and event-related expenses, and the balance one-third will go to the venue. The venue with each ticket is offering a complimentary drink.
Besides, there is a donation ticket for people who wish to donate to the cause without participating. All the money generated from this ticket will be diverted to the participating artists’ funds.
Safety is a top priority at the event. People will enter in small groups, and the entry and exit gates are separate. The gated outdoors is for food, drinks, and music, following all guidelines of social distancing.
