Young celebrity baker, Justin Ellen of New Jersey appeared on the “Sherri” show. He was invited to be on yesterday’s episode for Sherri Shepherd’s month long "Making Black History" series. At just 19, Justin was hired to make Mary J Blige’s birthday cake for her recent star-studded birthday bash.
Justin runs the business, Everything Just Baked. He missed both his high school graduation and his prom for a Netflix baking competition opportunity in 2021.
While graduation and prom are once in a lifetime events Justin felt that this competition show was more of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It paid off. Justin is now making six figures with his business at such a young age. He was only 18 while filming for the Netflix show, Is It Cake?
