Keith Barkley & Family Tradition captured the most nominations in eight categories, including ‘Favorite Southern Gospel Group,’ ‘Favorite Musician’ (Keith Barkley), and ‘Living Legend’ (Keith Barkley), among others.
Following are Don Stiles and Karen Peck & New River with five nominations each. Stiles garnered ‘Favorite Southern Gospel Soloist’ and ‘Favorite Songwriter’ among others. Among the five categories for Karen Peck & New River were ‘Favorite Southern Gospel Group’ and ‘Favorite Female Vocalist’ (Karen Peck Gooch).
The 3 Heath Brothers came in with nominations in four categories, including ‘Favorite Album’ (Into The Deep) and ‘Favorite Video’ (Into The Deep).
Carolina The Band and Dixie Revival each captured three nominations. Both artists compete for ‘Favorite Country Gospel Group’ while Carolina The Band also nabbed ‘Favorite Band’ and ‘Favorite Musician’ (Mitchell Whisnant), and Dixie Revival scored well with ‘Favorite Album’ (This Side of Heaven) and ‘Favorite Song’ (Beautiful Messes.)
