A spokesperson from the foundation expressed the dire conditions the children currently face, stating, "The old building had leaking roofs that caused the beds of the 125 children to get flooded whenever it rained. Furthermore, there simply isn't enough space to house all 125 children, let alone any additional ones. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference to this project."
