HostColor Extends AMD Dedicated Server Hosting Services

Global infrastructure provider HostColor.com (HC) has expanded its edge hosting locations for the delivery of AMD-powered bare metal servers.

HostColor.com (HC), a global infrastructure provider, has recently expanded its edge hosting locations to offer AMD-powered bare metal servers.

In the U.S., HostColor now offers AMD Dedicated Servers from data centers in Ashburn, Bend Oregon, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York, and Seattle. The company's international Edge data center locations for provisioning AMD-powered bare-metal server infrastructure are Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Sydney and Toronto.

Ashburn, Dallas, New York, and Los Angeles are HostColor's data center locations with the largest selection of powerful AMD EPYC-based processors with 256 GB of RAM or more and large enterprise-class NMVe storage drives.

In Philadelphia, HC has available AMD Ryzen 7-powered servers with 64GB RAM, 1TB NMVe drives, and 1Gbps bandwidth ports with unrestricted data transfer.

Selected bare-metal server configurations with AMD Ryzen and AMD Epyc in Ashburn, Chicago, and New York are available with 2 Gbps to 10 Gbps bandwidth ports. These server configurations usually feature 128 GB RAM or more and NMVe storage drives of 1.92 TB or larger.

In Amsterdam, the Netherlands HostColor offers immediate availability of AMD EPYC servers with high Internet bandwidth ports ranging from 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps and unmetered data transfer.

Semi-Managed AMD Dedicated Servers

All Dedicated Servers offered by HostColor, including those powered by AMD processors, are configured on-demand with an operating system or virtualization technology to create cloud-based application environments. All dedicated servers are "semi-managed". As part of the semi-managed service agreement, HC administrators install and configure the customers' servers to their customized technology environment, reinstall the operating system upon request, and assist server owners in troubleshooting any operating system, network, or software configuration issues.

HostColor's Edge Servers can be deployed for public dedicated clouds or single or multi-tenant Dedicated Private Clouds (DCIaaS). The DCIaaS are secure, customizable and isolated IT infrastructure solutions created on-demand. They are built using virtualization technologies such as Proxmox VE, Linux Containers (LCX), Kubernetes container orchestration, or VMware ESXi. The DCIaaS plans based on HC's Edge Servers feature WireGuard VPN technology and high-bandwidth Internet network connectivity.

HostColor recently announced AMD EPYC 7543 CPU-based servers with NMVe storage drives and scalable RAM from 128GB to 512GB RAM, available in Houston, Texas. The AMD servers feature 1 Gbps of dedicated, unmetered bandwidth that is upgradeable to 10 Gigabit network bandwidth.
