HostColor Rolls Out New Dedicated Servers In St. Louis Data Centers

HostColor.com is pleased to announce the launch of new dedicated server hosting plans in St. Louis, Missouri, from a data center located in the Globe Building.

HostColor (HC) is pleased to announce the new availability of Bare Metal Servers in St. Louis, Missouri. The latest bare metal server configuration available is the Intel Xeon E3-1270v6, comprising six cores and 12 threads, operating at 3.70 GHz, with 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of SSD storage, and 100 TB of data transfer on a 1 Gbps bandwidth port. Should your requirements change, you have the option to scale up your memory, storage, and data transfer quotas.

This and other bare metal servers are located in the Globe Building at 710 N Tucker Blvd in St. Louis. HostColor provides customers requiring dedicated servers in St. Louis data centers with IPv6 address space at no additional cost. The network services utilized by HC, through its St. Louis local NOC partner, feature internet connectivity to Hurricane Electric, Arelion, Cogent, and NTT.

The Globe Building is one of the largest telecommunications buildings in the central United States. The data center facility is SOC 2 Type II certified and includes N+1 diesel power generators, multiple MGE uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), multiple Liebert cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning (CRAC) units, pre-action fire suppression systems, biometric data center floor access control, and 24/7 building security with surveillance cameras throughout the data center floor and guarded front door entry.

HostColor also utilizes several data centers in Saint Louis, MO to provide cloud hosting and bare metal servers (dedicated servers). These include Lumen and Netrality Data Centers.

The hardware configurations available from HostColor in these data centers are listed in the St. Louis Dedicated Servers section.

Semi-Managed Dedicated Hosting

In accordance with the terms of HostColor's Semi-Managed Dedicated Servers, the company's administrators are responsible for installing and configuring server instances to the customer's specifications for both Linux and Windows environments. Additionally, they will reinstall the operating system (OS) upon request, configure and manage network settings, create and maintain custom virtual private networks, and assist clients in troubleshooting any server issues related to the OS, network, or software configuration.

Unrestricted Data Transfer

HostColor.com offers businesses and organizations based in Missouri and neighboring Midwestern U.S. states significant cost savings on data transfer and technical support. HC enables clients to achieve significant cost savings, often amounting to thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars per month, compared to large cloud infrastructure providers such as ASW, Azure, and others.

HostColor does not differentiate or segment internet traffic between different zones, does not impose data transfer charges on clients, and applies straightforward, transparent models of data transfer usage. The majority of HostColor's dedicated hosting services in St. Louis are equipped with high-bandwidth internet connection ports, with bandwidth rates ranging from 300 Mbps to 30 Gbps. Furthermore, these services offer unrestricted data transfer at no additional cost.

It is worth noting that HostColor's Semi-Managed Edge Servers in St. Louis, hosted at the 900 Walnut Street data center, represent a notable offering. These servers feature 5 bps, 10 Gbps, 20 Gbps, or 30 Gbps bandwidth rates, offering unmetered and unrestricted data transfer. This allows users to leverage the full capacity of the internet connection ports, subject to the limitations of the corresponding internet network and the distant server's bandwidth capacity.

HostColor has recently announced the availability of dedicated servers with 100 Gbps bandwidth in Amsterdam, Atlanta, Denver, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York, and Sao Paulo.
