Egypt archaeologists uncover 'complete' Roman city

Egyptian archaeologists said Tuesday they had discovered an 1,800-year-old "complete residential city from the Roman-era" in the heart of the southern city of Luxor.. Archaeologists discovered "a number of residential buildings", as well as "two pigeon towers" --  a structure used to house pigeons or doves --  and a "number of metal workshops," Waziri said in a statement.

Jordan's King Abdullah II on Tuesday hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Amman in a rare meeting after years of strained relations between the two leaders.. Start training Ukrainians to use Leopard tanks, Germany says

Germany said Tuesday that allies could start training Ukrainian forces to use the Leopard battle tanks desperately sought by Kyiv to repel Russian troops, provoking a defiant response from the Kremlin.. France repatriates more women, children from Syrian jihadist camp

France Tuesday repatriated 15 women and 32 children held in a prison camp for suspected jihadists in Syria, the foreign ministry said, in the third major return of French citizens from the country..
