Wes Anderson's new film puts Westerns, theatre, 1950s Americana and an alien into a blender for another of his atypical -- and star-packed -- concoctions that he says is about "reckoning with forces beyond your control".. - Scarlett's smokey voice - One person who is glaringly absent is Bill Murray, who has appeared in all Anderson's films since "Rushmore" in 1998. 

Hanks, Johansson join A-list invasion at Cannes

A literal bus-load of Hollywood A-listers arrived in Cannes on Tuesday, including Scarlett Johansson and Tom Hanks, for the premiere of Wes Anderson's strange blend of sci-fi and 1950s Westerns, "Asteroid City".. The Cannes Film Festival has had a relentless stream of Hollywood A-listers since kicking off last week, including world premieres for the new Indiana Jones and Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon" with Leonardo DiCaprio. 

Women outnumber men for the first time at Chelsea Flower Show

More women than men are competing for medals at the Chelsea Flower Show this year -- a first after more than a century of competition at the flagship London event.. This year's Chelsea Flower Show celebrates eight of these often-overlooked pioneers, with a "yin and yang" inspired flower installation symbolising "how women can embody both softness and strength," show manager Pollyanna Wilkinson told AFP.  The floral exhibits are in the traditional English cottage garden style, and were all produced by women.

Eilish, Kravitz to star at Paris climate concert

Billie Eilish will bring star power to a concert in Paris next month promoting a campaign to retool global finance to battle climate change, the NGO Global Citizen said Tuesday.. UK royal family won't return remains of Ethiopian prince
